Your role is to serve as a business development executive supporting our Consumer Practice (Healthcare, Retail, Communications, Media/Entertainment & Automotive sectors).  Experience in consulting, client management or business development in the automotive sector will be strongly weighed in evaluation for this role. Success for your role will be primarily measured by: 

  1. Growth of existing accounts: Leading sales within existing accounts, building client relationships and expanding the Method brand to grow accounts into long-term streams of sustainable revenue for Method 
  2. Pursuit of new client accounts: Partnering with Method’s subject matter experts and parent company partners (GlobalLogic and Hitachi), develop and deliver sales pitches to acquire new client logos for Method

You are naturally collaborative and comfortable working with others from different disciplines, companies and cultures on your new business pursuits.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and become expert in Method’s services and solutions
  • Develop sales materials to support prospecting meetings
  • Leverage existing networks to identify prospects to speak with and discuss Method’s services
  • Analyze customer needs, including current business obstacles, and identify opportunities and scope potential service offerings
  • Independently lead initial conversations with prospects around Method’s bespoke digital solutions & services 
  • Qualify prospects and opportunities to help determine fit for Method’s services
  • Differentiate between motivated and non-motivated buyers
  • Accurately manage CRM management tool(s) (e.g., Salesforce) 
  • Partner with Method leaders as well as GlobalLogic and Hitachi’s global teams to grow industry verticals and move opportunities through the sales process.
  • Partner with Method leaders to manage key client relationships
  • Grow existing client relationships by gaining trust, seeking referrals and positioning Method’s services to expand into new areas of client’s businesses
  • Leverage industry experience in Healthcare , Communications, Media & Entertainment, Retail and/or (most importantly) Automotive to deepen connections with clients, partners and prospects
  • Travel as necessary to pursue business develop opportunities (~30-40% of the time)
  • High quality communication at executive levels

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years experience in sales of digital solutions & services
  • 5-7+ years experience in client management & business development
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with expert practitioners to move prospects through the sales process and close new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrated history of achieving and surpassing sales goals
  • Specific experience in Automotive is a big plus
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, expand accounts and grow networks.
  • Top notch organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask, be self-motivated and naturally relationship driven are also critical skills
  • Other important areas of understanding / expertise include general business acumen, strategic thinking, problem solving/analysis, financial management, customer/client focus, communication skills.
