Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead UX Designer to join our dynamic team at Henry Meds. As the Lead UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in pioneering the user experience for our telehealth platform, ensuring that it is intuitive, engaging, visually appealing, and meets the needs of both patients and healthcare professionals. As a lead you will create a high level of design while also taking on a strategic role working with high level stakeholders and execs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Software Engineers, Data Analysts, and other designers.  In this role you will have the opportunity to mentor and lead other designers.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

User-Centered Design: Champion user-centered design principles and methodologies throughout the product development process. Conduct user research, user testing, and persona development to gain deep insights into user behavior and preferences.

Design Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers and Engineers, to define and refine the product's design strategy, vision, and goals.

Information Architecture: Develop and maintain a clear and organized information architecture for the platform, ensuring that users can easily navigate and find the information they need.

Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to illustrate and validate design concepts and user flows.

Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to fellow designers, fostering a culture of design excellence within the team.

User Feedback: Establish feedback channels and mechanisms to gather user input and insights for continuous improvement of the platform.

 

You will likely have:

  • Proven experience as a UX designer in a product-focused role, with 5+ years of experience.
  • Successfully designed net new B2C products that make a significant impact on the profitability of the business.
  • Experience mentoring or as a lead designer
  • Experience in mobile app design on both Android and iOS
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your UX design work, including user research, wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar software.
  • Knowledge of best practices in mobile and web design, as well as current design trends.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

You may have:

  • Experience with digital health or healthcare technology in general
  • Previously worked in an early-stage, high-growth startup environment
  • Have used Balsamiq to some extent
  • Comfortability and excitement about a fully remote environment
