We are looking for a talented and experienced Software Developer to join our team and help us to create and maintain scalable Elixir applications with a focus on voice technology. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, designing, implementing, and deploying Elixir clusters via Kubernetes. The team is currently fully remote and so is the position, but an office is always available in any of Brevo’s locations.

As a Software Developer - Elixir Focus , you will:
  • Develop highly scalable voice applications.
  • Deploy applications using Kubernetes.
  • Ensure application stability and performance through proactive maintenance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless user experiences by integrating applications with other systems.
  • Continuously iterate on applications to meet evolving market trends and user needs.


What will contribute to your success:
  • Solid understanding of backend app development and the ability to engineer mitigation techniques using Elixir (at least 3 years of experience).
  • Open to learning additional languages and technologies while working on Elixir projects (company main language is Golang)
  • Excellent English and strong experience in a multicultural environment.
  • Ability to pick up new technology concepts on the fly and discuss with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analyze problems and build solutions that are powerful, scalable, and reliable.
  • Highly positive attitude and ability to build conducive working relationships with colleagues from all levels.
  • Passionate about bringing value to customers rather than just building a technology.
  • Experience in working with Twilio or other CPaaS and understanding telephony is a plus.
  • Experience in deploying and scaling Elixir clusters in the cloud is a plus.
