Description

The role: 

  • The Billing Representative is responsible for performing tasks that will help us monitor our revenues. 
  • The Billing Representative will be responsible for keeping track of money owed to us by customers, preparing invoices and updating records to ensure that we receive payment for services offered to clients. The goal is to contribute to the accurate preparation of invoices, accounts receivable management, and safeguard the company’s income.
  • You must be accurate and reliable in handling accounts and documents. Being good at math and a high degree of organizational ability are essential due to the great amount of financial information. 
  • Since you will be using technology to expedite your work, some degree of computer knowledge is also required.

  • You’ll process client invoices and ensure invoices are free of errors and processed in a timely manner
  • You’ll assist the billing team with discrepancies on invoices
  • You’ll respond to customer inquiries and resolves issues as needed
  • You’ll keep accurate records in our system and makes updates to customer info as needed
  • You'll reconcile deal information in our billing system with signed customer agreements
  • You’ll follow up with delinquent accounts, make collection calls, draft collection emails and letters
  • You'll provide A/R write-offs and communicate with clients with efficiency, professionalism and provide excellent customer service

  • You have 2+ years of related experience AR/AP experience
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You are proficient in Excel 
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with accounting software programs (Netsuite, etc.) preferred
  • Degree in Accounting preferred

 

Compensation:

Base salary: $50,500 - $56,000

Total compensation for this role also incentive stock options and benefits.
