Pangong Tso, commonly known as Pangong Lake, is one of the most mesmerizing and iconic lakes in the Himalayas. Straddling the borders of India and China, this endorheic (landlocked) lake lies at an elevation of about 4,350 meters (14,270 feet) above sea level. Stretching over 134 kilometers, with about 60% of its length in China, Pangong Lake is renowned for its crystal-clear blue waters and dramatic mountainous backdrop.
